Otto is sold only to businesses. For our terms, see the Terms of Service; for personal data, the Privacy Policy.
Otto's plans are sold through Polar (polar.sh), our reseller and merchant of record: Polar takes the payment, collects the VAT and issues the invoices and receipts, and its name appears on card and bank statements. Verify: Polar's contracting entity and address as printed on its invoices.
Review: This page is written so it can also serve as the Impressum required in Germany (§ 5 DDG) and Austria (§ 5 ECG, § 25 MedienG) when Otto launches there, including a German version. Check before that launch: a second fast contact channel besides e-mail (the phone number), the register court as well as the number, and whether a person responsible for editorial content (§ 18 MStV) must be named for our blog or social profiles. The EU online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025, so no link to it is needed; a statement on consumer dispute resolution (§ 36 VSBG) is not needed while Otto sells to businesses only.
